DIGITAL FOUNDATION · GENEVA, SWITZERLAND
A website that represents your business accurately. One that earns trust, answers the right questions and makes people want to get in touch.

Make a good impression.
A visual direction specific to your business, clear messages and a journey that helps visitors understand what you offer. Your website should make people want to choose you from the very first pages.
Fast pages, readable on mobile and keyboard-accessible. Design and development are thought through together, down to hover states, forms and image loading.
Page structure, headings, URLs and structured data: search visibility is part of the design. It can then be taken further with SEO and GEO support.
You receive the access rights, documentation and training suited to your team. You should be able to keep your content alive and evolve the site.
Digital Foundation is designed and built by Thierry Barbezat. It is a direct example of the work I offer: art direction, mobile experience, cinematic animation and custom development.
Browse the home page to see it for yourself. It presents my own site, not a client project or a measured commercial result.
WordPress is a good fit when you publish regularly or when several people contribute content. How easily your team can take it over is part of the choice.
For a specific experience, a more advanced interface or a site connected to business tools, I can build a custom solution. Ease of maintenance remains a deciding factor.
Before changing the structure, I list the existing URLs and important pages. Useful addresses are kept or redirected to the matching pages, to limit the risks to your search rankings. The migration is checked before and after launch.
The budget depends on the number of pages, the content to produce, the design work and the features. After a first conversation, you receive a scope, a timeline and a price, all set before work begins.
Design and build, hosting and maintenance are listed separately in the proposal. For a showcase website, a project generally takes a matter of weeks; the timeline also allows for preparing and approving your content.

Having run an SME shapes the way I work: understanding your constraints, clarifying the choices and handing you the keys to the project.
About my backgroundFREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
It depends on the number of pages, the content to produce and the features. A solid showcase website for an SME falls within a range I give you on the first call, once the scope is clear. The price is fixed before I start.
WordPress when you need to publish often and on your own, Next.js when performance and search visibility come first. The choice depends on who will maintain the site after me, not on my preference of the moment.
Yes, that is a condition I set. You receive training and written documentation. A site that can only be changed by going back to its creator is a site that ages badly.
They are preserved if — and only if — existing URLs are kept or properly redirected with 301s. It is the first thing I check on any redesign, before we even talk about design.
A few weeks for a showcase website, longer if the content still needs to be written. Content is almost always what stretches the timeline: the development itself is predictable.
The quote lists design and build, hosting and any maintenance services separately. We agree on who handles them and on what terms before launch.
